Hey there, I'm Nicole Schmidt, I'm the photographer of GingerSnappz that captures everything from family to any special occasion in your life. I'm a loving wife and a full-time mom to four amazing kiddos- Hunter, Rachel, Logan and Evelyn. We live in Ashtabula, Ohio. It's set right on Lake Eire in Northeast Ohio . I found my passion for photography at a young age and I didn't pursue it until I was much older, and I am over the moon with all the memories that I have photographed on this amazing journey.

It didn't take long before my creative hobby got noticed by family, friends and neighbors from the community , who wanted precious moments captured in a similar, earthy, moody cinematic way. Since I already knew them well, I could easily focus on their unique quirks and dynamic.

This is an essential step in getting the best photos for any of my clients. Before we agree to work together, we will meet in person get to know each other. It's all about building trust prior to getting in front of the camera.
